17th Annual Unifest Celebration Florida's Lieutenant Governor Jennifer Carroll


Natalya Miller-Odum ,right, receives her award for winning first-place in the 2011 essay competition, the topic has who was Marcus Garvey and how did he impact American society from Florida's Lieutenant Governor Jennifer Carroll on Sunday May 22, 2011 at the 17th Annual Unifest Celebration at the Vincent Torres Park in Lauderdale Lakes.

Carroll was the Grand Marshall of this multicultural event that has presented by the City of Lauderdale Lakes and the Greater Caribbean Cultural Coalition(GCACCoalition). Featuring live Caribbean music and entertainment, a mini carnival street parade, arts & crafts booths, food and more! A musical line up includes Queen Ifrica (Jamaica), Tizzy & El-A-Kru (Antigua), BBK (Panama Reggaeton), Bushman (Jamaica), Gospel from J. Moss and 21:03, R&B from Black DADA (Haiti) and many more.
