Henri and Zack Crockett all smiles after feeding Broward County’s homeless and less fortunate Thanksgiving day


The Crockett brothers were all smiles Henri, left, and Zack, right, on Thanksgiving Day Thursday, November 25, 2010 as their Crockett Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by former NFL players Henri Crockett (Minnesota Vikings) and Zack Crockett (Oakland Raiders) had their Thanksgiving feast to feed Broward County’s homeless and less fortunate at the Saint Laurence Chapel Day Shelter in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Henri, Zack and volunteers from the Zeta Rho Omega Chapter (Fort Lauderdale) of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and the Eta Nu Chapter (Pompano Beach) of Omega Psi Ph Fraternity prepared and serve over 100 traditional Thanksgiving meal, including turkey, ham and all the trimmings, in a tent with music and activities, all free of charge to Broward County’s homeless.

Saint Laurence Chapel Day shelter is the only day shelter for the homeless in Broward County and provides hot showers, hot breakfast, hot lunch, clothing, case management and other services to the homeless and near homeless for over 20 years located at 1698 Blount Road in Pompano Beach, Florida. 33069.
