Miami Dolphins spread holiday cheer to shooting survivors

I was doing a Christmas feel-good feature story on Miami Dolphins cheerleaders when I stumbled on this tragic story that the Miami Dolphins were trying to do something to help these kids deal with their tragic loss.

Dolphins cornerback Benny Sapp is all smiles as he cuddles 2-year-old Kristian Jack at the Dolphins ‘Fins and Kids Holiday Toy Event’ on December 14. Kristian and his siblings were invited after they lost their mother at the hands of a boyfriend in a murder/suicide on November 20. Sapp felt a special bond with the siblings because he lost his father to gun violence when he was just five years old.
